Description

Ivydale is a house dating from around 1800 in Nailsea. The house is constructed of rubble, which has been rendered, and has a pantiled roof with stone and rendered chimney stacks. It is two storeys high with two windows. These are sash windows, and a central door consisting of six panels, set within a plain frame with a segmental head. The right return has a two-light casement window at ground floor level, a four-pane light above it on the first floor, and a door with a wooden hood. A two-storey rear addition is also present. The left return of the house is not rendered, and a 20th-century addition with a flat roof includes a window on each floor. The interior has not been inspected.
