Description
Nut Tree Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is rendered and features double Roman pantiles with brick stacks. Originally, it had a two-room cross passage layout, which has since been significantly extended. The building is two storeys tall, with the taller section having three windows. The ground floor includes 20th-century three-light casements and 19th-century gabled porches, along with a notable six-panel door. The first floor features 16-light glazing bar sashes set in revealed boxes. There are also two additional bays to the southeast with irregularly placed casements under lower eaves. At the rear, there is a large two-storey extension that has all modern windows. The ground floor contains a blocked cross passage and deep stop-chamfered beams.
