Description

TICKENHAM ROAD 1. 5121 (North Side) Crenellated wall and circular tower running from north-east corner of Clevedon Court ST 47 SW 3/1A II GV 2. Said to date from C13 and probably the remains of an original kitchen and domestic offices range. To rear of the house and forming the eastern boundary of the terraced garden is a tall rubble wall with crenellated top. This wall rises in stages to join a small circular tower which also has rubble walls and a crenellated parapet. Small glazed opening on outer side. C19 lean-to Gothic extension with pantile roof and pointed door abutting east side of wall. Graded II as part of the original arrangements of Clevedon Court.
