Description
The summerhouse, located 30 metres south of the south front of Hutton Court, dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of rendered rubble with freestone dressings and features a slate roof. The building is a single-storey structure with a single room, showcasing two windows that have shouldered architraves and voussoirs. The central doorway is adorned with a moulded architrave and a shallow hood supported by console brackets. A moulded timber cornice with triglyphs adds decorative detail, and the roof is steep and hipped. The end elevations have plain window openings, which are currently empty, while the rear elevation is blank.
