Description

The White Hall Farm House is a farmhouse dating to 1792, with extensions likely added in the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone walls with ashlar quoins. The roof is slate, with stone eaves courses and coped gables to the original section. There are three stacks: one of brick at the left end, one at the junction of the original and later sections, and one of stone at the right end. A later rear extension features plastered walls and a separate panelled gabled roof. A 20th-century stone porch, with a gabled slate roof, has been added, displaying the re-set date stone. The ground floor has two three-light stone mullioned windows with flat mullions, and the first floor has two similar three-light windows and a central two-light window. The left-hand ground floor room in the original section includes a large open fireplace with stone jambs and a timber lintel, along with an exposed ceiling beam.
