Description

The White House is a house from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of stucco and features a hipped slate roof with brick stacks at both ends and along part of the ridge. The building has a cross-wing on the left side and pilaster strips every second bay. It is two storeys high and has a five-window range, with sash windows that include glazing bars. At the junction of the main range and the cross-wing, there is a panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above it. The house has a flat porch supported by Ionic columns, which may have been added in the 20th century. There is a similar porch on the right end wall that includes glazed double doors.
