Description

Jordan House consists of two blocks. The higher block, forming the north-east portion of Nos 1 and part of No 2, dates to the 19th century. It is three storeys high with two window bays, featuring a peaked slate roof and overhanging eaves. The front is stuccoed, with four-pane sash windows within reveals. A porch has early 19th century trellis supports and a corrugated iron canopy, now fitted with a modern glazed door. To the left is a lower two-storey block with a steep corrugated iron roof; it has a two-light casement window to the left and a three-light casement window both above and below to the right. The garden front of the higher block features three-light casement windows with small wood panes. Nos 1 and 2 Jordan House, together with the garden walls, form a group of buildings of group value.
