Description

This is a group of three table tombs, likely from the 18th century, located to the south of Holy Rood Church in Buckland Newton. The tombs are made of stone slabs with side panels. The first tomb is situated 5 meters south of the church's south aisle and features a ridge top with carvetto moulding and divided side panels. The second tomb is 3 meters south of the first and is similar in design but has a cyma moulded top, dedicated to Rob Frampton. The third tomb is located 2 meters southeast of the first; it has a carvetto moulded flat top and an inscription that has been obliterated.
