Description

This is a row of four cottages, numbered 1-5, situated on Fordington Green. The cottages were likely built in the early 19th century and have a uniform appearance with stucco-covered fronts. They are two storeys high with attics. The fronts are divided into panels by horizontal string courses and flat, paired pilasters. The roof is a Mansard design, incorporating slate on the upper slope, tiles in the middle section, and stone above the eaves. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. Attic dormers are present. Numbers 1 to 5 are considered to form a group.
