Description

Purbeck House is an early 19th-century building of stucco construction, situated on Fordington High Street. It has a pitched slate roof with overhanging eaves. The building is arranged over two storeys and contains attic space. There are three ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. Two flat-topped attic dormers feature sash windows with glazing bars. A flush-panelled door is accompanied by a fanlight. Windows are also present within a semi-basement level, each set within a pointed relieving arch and protected by iron grilles.
