Description

Stone House is a mid-19th century building located on the east side of Pound Lane. It is constructed from Portland or Ridgeway hammer-dressed stone and features a double-pitched modern tile roof with overhanging eaves and bargeboarded gables. The building has two storeys and includes three ranges of segment-headed sash windows with glazing bars set in chamfered reveals, each with keystones. A gabled porch with a three-centred chamfered arch leads to the door. There are paired stacks placed diagonally on plinths. In front, there is a rubble terrace with cast iron railings. To the east, a long two-storey farmyard range forms a courtyard.
