Description
Writh Farmhouse is a mid 19th-century farmhouse built from coursed, squared rubble. It features gable-ended slate roofs with stone copings and end ashlar stacks, designed in a 'Tudor' style. The building is L-shaped and has two storeys with a three-window range. The windows are two-light stone-mullioned with leaded lights, while the north wing has wooden casements with glazing bars. The entrance is located in the re-entrant angle of the structure. To the north, there is a continuous, long outbuilding range that has a half-hipped, tiled roof, and a plank door is situated to the right.
