Description
This barn, located 150 meters northeast of Tarrant Abbey House, dates back to the 15th century but was largely rebuilt in 1759. The earliest section is constructed from flint and rubble, while the later parts are made of English bond brickwork. It features two original weathered buttresses on the north wall and 18th-century brick buttresses on the west wall. The barn has a tiled roof and includes a transeptal porch at the west exit, along with ventilator slits. Inside, there is an eight-bay roof supported by 'sling brace' trusses from the 18th century.
