Description
Troy Town Farm House is a farmhouse built in the early to mid 19th century. It features brick walls and a slate roof with coped gables. The building has brick stacks with moulded oversailing caps, including one in the center of the front range and two in the rear range. The farmhouse has a T-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall. The entrance is located in the rear range, which is concealed by a 20th-century porch but still retains a fanlight. On the front range, there are two sashes with glazing bars under gauged arches on each floor. At the rear of the main range, there is an added range on the left end, creating two parallel ridges. This is a simple but generally unspoiled Victorian farmhouse.
