Description
Manor Dairy Farmhouse is a dairy farmhouse dating from the early 17th century. It features rubble-stone walls that are rendered, with a double-Roman clay-tile roof that has gable ends and stone gable-copings. The building has stone and rendered stacks and stands two storeys high. There are three windows with irregular spacing, primarily consisting of three-light wood casements that have rectangularly leaded lights at the top right. The centre window is a three-light that illuminates the staircase. To the left of centre, there is a plank door set in a deep square reveal, which dates from the 19th century.
Inside, the staircase is positioned unusually on the front wall immediately to the right of the door passage. The ground floor rooms feature heavy-chamfered ceiling beams. In the hallway, there is reset plank-and-muntin panelling from the 16th century. The top left room contains a bolection-moulded Ham stone fireplace from the 17th century.
