Description

Ivydene is a detached cottage located at right angles to the road in Longburton Village. It dates from the early 18th century and features rubble-stone walls with a thatch roof and gable ends. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has three windows, which are three-light wood casements with wood cills and lintels. Above these, there are three eyebrow dormers with the same style of windows. The front door, located at the center, is a plank-and-muntin design from the 20th century. Inside, the open fireplaces have been rebuilt.
