Description

This is a row of terraced houses located on South Street, dating from the 18th or early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of red brick and extend to two storeys with attics, topped with pitched slate roofs. Number 119 retains original casement windows, while the others have modern casements. Number 123 features a small shop window with panelled pilasters supporting an entablature and cornice. The buildings form a group with numbers 87 to 95 (odd), which includes the Friends Meeting House, and numbers 99 to 159 (odd).
