Description
The William Cox monument is a stone table tomb located in the churchyard, 2 meters north of the John Cox monument. It dates from 1704 and features a moulded top with recessed panelled sides. One long side bears an inscription that reads, "Father, friend and husband dear, loving father lieth here," dedicated to William Cox. The opposite side is adorned with carved crossed bones, a skull, and an hourglass. Additionally, there are carved floral motifs on the ends of the tomb.
