Description

This is a late 16th or early 17th century farmhouse, with a later 18th century addition at a right angle. The earliest part of the house is constructed of rubble and flint with squared rubble quoins, while a later range is built of Flemish bond brickwork. Both ranges have slate roofs, with brick detailing in various locations. The original range is a single storey with an attic, and has an irregular arrangement of windows. This section features 2-light casements with glazing bars. The later range is two stories tall and six bays wide, incorporating 12-pane sashes under segmental arches. Pilasters with rubbed brick capitals mark the centre and ends of this range. A 20th century glazed door is located at the left end. The interior has been significantly altered; one room contains a stop-chamfered beam, likely re-used from elsewhere.
