Description

No. 53 Village Street is a cottage dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It has a rendered and whitewashed exterior, topped with a thatched roof and featuring brick stacks at both ends of the original range. The cottage is two storeys high with an attic and has a two-window range, with extensions on the right and left. The windows are casements with horizontal glazing bars, and there is a round window on the ground floor to the left. A central glazed porch adds to the entrance.
