Description

No. 17 is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier, constructed from coursed, squared rubble and render. It features a thatched roof, which is gabled on the right side and hipped on the left. There are brick stacks located at the right gable and to the right of the door. The house has two storeys and a window range of four to five. The ground floor windows are 20th-century casements with horizontal glazing bars, while the two upper floor left windows and one right window are likely 18th-century wrought iron casements with leaded lights set in wooden surrounds. The central upper floor window is from the 20th century. A 19th-century lattice porch is present, and the entrance features a six-panel fielded door.
