Description
The barn and outbuilding range located 100 meters northeast of Tarrant Abbey House dates from the late 15th century, with 18th and 19th century rebuilding and alterations. It is constructed from flint and rubble, featuring ashlar dressings and tiled roofs. The east and west sides are supported by ashlar buttresses that vary from one to four stages. There are various 19th and 20th century doors and windows. Inside, the main building boasts a 15th century hammer-beam roof, which includes chamfered curved braces, cambered collar beams, shaped wall-posts, and curved wind-bracing to the purlins.
