Description
Southcombe Farmhouse is a house with a 17th century wing and a main range that is likely from the mid-18th century. The end walls are made of flint and rubble, and the main facade is completely covered by creeper. The building features brick dressings and has a slated, gable-ended roof on the main range, with brick stacks at both ends and partway along the ridge. The rear wing is thatched. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a four-window range. The ground floor includes three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, while the upper floor has three-light casements with leaded lights, which are probably from the 18th century. There is a panelled, likely 19th-century, glazed door with side-lights.
