Description
3 and 5 Sally Kings Lane are two adjoining buildings from the 19th century. Number 5 faces south and is divided into two sections. The left section is two storeys high with one window bay and a door. It features a slate gabled roof and a rough ashlar front, with a two-light casement window above and a three-light casement window below. The wooden boarded door is framed and located on the left side. The right section is also two storeys tall with three windows and has a separate gabled roof with a stone rubble front. It has two-light casement windows with small panes and brick dressings. Number 3 is situated behind Number 5 and has one window bay in its gable end facing Sally King's Lane. It features two-light windows with small panes and segmental heads, along with a wooden boarded door that also has a segmental head. The front is made of stone rubble and rough ashlar. There is a modern lean-to extension built onto the left end of the building. Numbers 3 and 5, along with an outbuilding between Number 5 and Saro Cottage, and Saro Cottage itself, as well as Numbers 2 and 4, form a group with Numbers 7 and 9 The Knapp.
