Description

No. 39 on East Street is a house located at the right end of a terrace, dating from the early 19th century. It features rubble stone walls and a stone slate roof, with a brick stack positioned at the left end. The building is one storey high with an attic. The front has a 20th-century flush door set beneath a flat arch. On the ground floor, there is one casement window with a central horizontal glazing bar, also under a similar arch. The attic includes a gabled dormer that has ornamental bargeboards and a finial, with casement windows that also feature a central horizontal glazing bar. This property is managed by the National Trust.
