Description

No. 2 Well Lane is a building that faces south and dates from the early 19th century, although it may have an older core. It has two storeys and features four bays. The roof is made of slate and has a half hip facing Well Lane, with ashlar stacks that have capping. The front is constructed of rough ashlar. The building includes two-light casement windows with keystones, particularly in the right-hand bay, which also has a French casement window above and a small shop front below a low pentice that faces the lane leading to The Bartons. The wall curves at the northeast corner.
