Description

Nankelly Bridge is a bridge over a stream, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of granite and slatestone rubble, featuring granite dressings. The bridge has a single elliptical arch with a dressed granite arch ring on each side. The parapet walls are approximately one metre high, made of slatestone rubble with rounded granite coping, which is swept back at each end. The bridge measures about 8 metres in length and about 5 metres in width.
