Description
Rosecadgehill House is a 17th to 18th century building, said to have been constructed in 1699. It is made of granite ashlar and features a slate hipped mansard roof. The house has one string course and segmental arched openings, with two storeys and attics. There are five closely spaced sash windows with glazing bars and revealed casing. The entrance is marked by a wooden Doric porch that is pilastered and pedimented. The house also has two large flat-topped attic windows with slate hung cheeks and wide eaves. Inside, there is a well-preserved panelled room with fluted Ionic pilasters, a panelled entrance hall, and a contemporary staircase that includes turned balusters and square newels.
