Description

Masonic Hall is an early to mid 19th century building located on Prince's Street in Penzance. The structure is stuccoed, with a ground floor made of granite ashlar featuring horizontal rebated joints. It stands tall at three storeys and has three windows. The building is topped with a heavy cornice and parapet, and it features Ionic end pilasters. The centre of the facade slightly projects forward, with a window that is slightly recessed. The large sash windows include glazing bars. There is a wide central doorway flanked by paired Ionic pilasters and an entablature that has a cornice running across the width of the building. Masonic Hall, along with the adjoining premises and nos 4 and 5, form a cohesive group.
