Description
Treneree Manor was built in 1758 and is a notable small mansion constructed from granite ashlar. It features a modillion eaves cornice, chamfered quoins, and a stringcourse. The east front has two storeys and a basement, with three windows; the central section projects forward and is topped with a pediment that contains a lunette. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. The central doorway is framed by Tuscan three-quarter columns and an entablature, topped with a semi-circular fanlight that includes a carriage lamp, and it has a fielded panel door. There are steps leading to the doorway, which are flanked by iron railings. A slate mansard roof has been added later. Inside, the dining room is panelled and features doorcases and a fireplace, while the drawing room has 18th-century wallpaper and a fireplace. The staircase has Tuscan column newels and plain balusters.
