Description
Pelean Farmhouse is a 19th-century building with a stucco front that conceals an earlier house. It is two storeys high and features three sash windows without glazing bars. The roof is steep and covered with slate. At the center of the façade is an enclosed gabled porch, which dates back to the 16th or 17th century. This porch is made of stone and has a slate roof, with a doorway that has a four-centred arch and sunken spandrels. The exterior door is glazed, while the interior doorway is made of fine moulded masonry, possibly sourced from Tywardreath Priory, and features a four-centred arch with an original heavy studded door.
