Description
Trevissick Farmhouse is an early 17th century building, or possibly older, with a U-shaped plan. It features rubble construction, hipped slate roofs, and brick and plaster stacks, including two large projecting chimney breasts at the rear. The farmhouse was significantly altered in the 18th century when the current east facade was added. It is two storeys high and has five front windows, which are sashes with glazing bars, along with stone mullion windows. The central entrance is made of wood and includes a pediment and panelled reveals, leading to a panelled door. There is also a stair turret at the southern angle, which is dated 1608. The interior has been modernised. Trevissick Farmhouse, along with its farm buildings and Little Trevissick, forms a cohesive group.
