Description

Trenant Bridge is a bridge over the River Fowey, likely built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite coping. The bridge features three spans on the upstream side, each with a flat granite lintel and two triangular cutwaters between the spans. On the downstream side, there are three similar spans, but without cutwaters. The parapet walls rise to about one metre high and are topped with roughly hewn granite coping stones. The bridge spans approximately 7 metres and is about 3 metres wide.
