Description
The Chappel tomb and headstone, located approximately 10 meters north of the aisle of the Church of St Keyne, consists of a chest tomb and a headstone. The chest tomb commemorates William Chappel, who died in 1815 at the age of 63. The headstone honors Elizabeth, the daughter of Ambrose and Honour Chappel, who passed away on April 12, 1768, at the age of 4. The chest tomb is rectangular in shape and made of elvan ashlar, featuring an inscribed slate lid. The headstone is also made of slate and has a double ogee-shaped head.
