Description

The Arthur monument is a headstone located in the churchyard, approximately 2 metres south of the nave of the Church of St Stephen. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of granite, featuring a slate inscription tablet. The headstone has a nowy head and a rebated slate inscription tablet, which includes well-crafted lettering and verses dedicated to Rebecca Arthur, who passed away in 1810.
