Description
This outbuilding, located to the east of North Truas Farmhouse, dates from the early 20th century. It is constructed from slate stone rubble and features a slate roof with hipped ends. The building has a rectangular plan and includes a wide entrance on the front that faces a grassed courtyard. The entrance has a segmental arched opening with a dressed stone arch.
The outbuilding is part of an interesting group that includes two contemporary farmhouses, likely designed by the same architect, located to the west and south (East Truas Farmhouse and North Truas Farmhouse). Each of these buildings faces inward toward the grassed courtyard. To the southwest, there is an earlier farmhouse that is now disused.
