Description

This is a detached chimney stack, built around 1838, located at the New Engine Shaft of Trewavas Mine. It is constructed from granite rubble and features a round, two-stage tapered design, with a projecting granite collar at the top of each stage. Wheal Trewavas was a copper mine that operated approximately from 1834 to 1846.
