Description
The Holy Well of St Morwenna is a well house with medieval origins, located about 14 metres down the cliff to the west of the Church of St Morwenna. It features a dressed stone gabled structure built into the side of the cliff. The well house has a rectangular opening beneath a stone lintel, with a triangular stone feature above the lintel set in the gable. Some repairs to the well have been made by Hawker. Access to the well house is not possible without a local guide. St Morwenna's well is depicted in the Hawker memorial window in the parish church.
