Description
The Vicarage is a building from 1834, constructed with coursed stonework featuring granite quoins and dressings. It has two storeys and three pedimental gable bays, each containing one window, with the centre bay slightly advanced. A granite string and eaves course runs along the top. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and the centre sash has a semi-circular head with Gothick tracery. The central door is panelled and topped with a semi-circular fanlight that also has Gothic tracery. The roof is slate. The back of the building faces the road, while the east elevation has two storeys with three sash windows, the centre of which on the ground floor is semi-circular headed. The rear north elevation is similar to the front but was undergoing alterations at the time of inspection. The Vicarage, along with the church, wall with gateway, and the Cornish Arms Inn, forms a group.
