Description

The Old Market House is a late 18th or early 19th century building of roughcast construction. It is two storeys high. The ground floor is characterised by four simple granite Doric columns which support the upper level. Three modern, large two-light casements now occupy the ground floor openings, replacing former sash windows. The roof is hipped and covered in slate, with paired brackets to the eaves soffit.
