Description

This is an outbuilding located immediately west of Churchtown Farmhouse, likely built in the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed from local stone rubble, with the north and east sides being colourwashed. The roof is hipped and covered with rag slate, featuring a short ridge topped with red clay ridge tiles. The building is approximately square in shape, with a doorway in the center of the east side that faces the farmhouse, and a wide opening on the south side that looks out onto a field. The west side has a blocked window situated under the eaves. Inside, the roof is supported by bolted soft-wood trusses.
