Description

The cross slab, located in the churchyard adjacent to the south side of the tower of the Church of St Nivet in Lanivet, is possibly from the Pre-Conquest period. It is made of granite and stands as a monolith approximately 1.5 metres long. The slab features a raised carved cross along the center, with a raised foot at the base. It is roughly hewn and is considered a rare type, similar to examples found at Temple, Towednack, and Wendron.
