This is a triangular granite guide post, likely dating from the early 19th century. It stands at the junction of Priory Road and Launceston Road in Bodmin. The post is a monolith with a pyramidal cap. Two sides are inscribed, originally reading "LANSON" and "LISKEARD". A later inscription on the shaft reads "TO STATION." All inscriptions are incised, with the original inscriptions exhibiting distinct serifs.
