Description

The Old Manor House is a late 17th century and 18th century building located on North Street in St Austell. It is three storeys tall with an attic and features a stuccoed exterior. The façade includes five windows with mullion-transom leaded light casements and four dormers that have flat heads. There are two small 20th century shop fronts and a wide recessed central entrance. A cornice stringcourse with modillions runs between the first and second floors, topped with a slate cap. The eaves cornice also has modillions, and the building is topped with a steeply pitched hipped slate roof. Inside, there is a contemporary staircase with turned balusters.
