Description
Farmhouse, now divided into two dwellings, dating to the early to mid-19th century. The front is constructed of killas rubble with Pentewan stone segmental arches above the openings. It has a dry Delabole slate hipped roof at the front, with lower roofs to the rear service wings. A brick stack is located at the left end, and a rendered axial stack is at the rear of the main wing. The building has a deep plan, including a rear wing set at a right angle and a smaller wing set to its right. It likely originally contained two rooms at the front, flanking a central entrance and stair hall. The exterior is two storeys, with a symmetrical three-window front, the right-hand windows being blind. The original hornless sash windows have glazing bars, including a likely stair window with margin panes. The central doorway has an overlight and an original five-panel door. The right-hand return has a two-window range to the front part and a one-window range to the service wing, while the small, set-back wing has two windows to the front. The interior was not inspected.
