Description
This is a stepped tomb with a cross, located approximately 9 meters south of the tower of the Church of St Keyne. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of dressed freestone. The tomb features a foliated cross on a tall tapered and chamfered shaft, which has pyramid stops and a moulded cornice. It stands on a stopped square plinth that is raised over two octagonal steps. The tomb commemorates George Cornish, who lived from 1828 to 1850.
