Description

Lloyds Bank Limited is a bank building constructed in 1906 by architect Silvanus Trevail for the Devon and Cornwall Banking Company. The building features three tall storeys and has four windows, with the end bays projecting slightly. It is made of ashlar stone with yellow terracotta rusticated architraves and pediments above the windows, which are sashes without glazing bars. The parapet is topped with a terracotta modillion cornice, and there are small segmental pediments at the ends. The ground storey is finished in rusticated granite ashlar and includes a moulded cornice.
