Description
Samuels Cottage is a house dating from around the mid-18th century. It features whitewashed rubble walls and a slate roof with crested ridge tiles, hipped on the left side and gable-ended on the right. The building has brick stacks at each end and a single depth plan.
The front of the cottage has a regular arrangement of four windows, all with timber lintels and slate sills. On the ground floor, there are three two-light centre-hung casements, each with six panes per light, and a wide panelled door located between the first and second windows. Above, on the first floor, there are four windows aligned with the ground floor openings. The window on the left is a two-light centre-hung casement, while the other three are three-light casements, also with six panes per light.
The roof has been slightly raised. The interior has not been inspected.
