Description

Trehaverne House is a late 18th-century house located on Kenwyn Road, Truro. It is a double-depth plan house with a service wing behind the right-hand side. The exterior is colourwashed rubble with slatehanging to the first floor on the front elevation. The roof is hipped, covered with asbestos slate, and features two hipped dormers each containing a 12-pane casement window. A brick chimney is visible on the right-hand side wall and at the rear. The symmetrical front facade has five windows, all fitted with original or early 19th-century hornless 12-pane sashes. The central doorway is topped with a pedimented doorcase featuring panelled reveals and pilasters, now containing a 20th-century glazed door. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest.
