Description

Nos 3 and 4, The Cliff, are buildings from the 18th or 19th century located in Mevagissey. They are constructed of roughcast rubble. Number 3 was originally slate hung but has been replaced by metal sheathing. The buildings are three storeys high and feature five windows, which are sashes set in moulded cases without glazing bars. Number 3 has a glazed door, while number 4 has a flush panelled door with a plain rectangular fanlight. Both buildings have a cement-washed slate hipped roof. They are included for their group value, as all the listed buildings on The Cliff create a cohesive group on the north side of the harbour.
